Hey there!
Hoping you all had a great Memorial Day Weekend. We’re wrapping up a very rainy May, the school year is over, and we’re heading fast towards summer. Today, I’m sharing:

Here we go!

🎤 Join Us This Thursday At TheatreSquared

We’ve teamed up with Startup Junkie to host The Service Business Pitch Contest, presented by Generations Bank, at TheatreSquared in Fayetteville on Thursday, May 29, from 6–9p.
Service-based startups (home services, commercial help, or tech-enabled solutions) will have 60 seconds to pitch their business to a panel of expert judges for $2,500 to fuel their venture. Guests will also vote for the People’s Choice Award, which will receive $750.
The community is invited to network with local founders and business leaders at T2’s Commons—did I mention free drinks?!

🖐️ Top Five Stories From May
Things were really clicking last month, with 35,000+ unique link clicks across all emails. Of the stories shared, these five saw the biggest piece of the action:
Speaking of those Firefly Walks, I got the following message from the Peel Compton team later that day 👇

When organizations create amazing experiences for the community (as Peel Compton Foundation often does) and you pair that with a 40,000+ subscriber local newsletter, great things happen!
So, what event can we help you sell out this summer? Can’t promise it will be in under an hour, but we’ll sure help you try! 😜

📊 From The Reader Polls
We run weekly polls to learn more about our readers’ opinions, preferences, concerns, etc.
Some are serious, and some are just for fun. But they often spark ideas for me as I curate content for the newsletter. Maybe one will spark an idea for your business or organization, too!

One reader commented, “I’m planned out 6-8 weeks.”
No idea what that would feel like! 😂

Since launching NWA Daily (and sister publications in Tulsa, KC, and Little Rock), we’ve been asked again and again to help others grow their own newsletters.
So we’re building something to better share what we’ve learned, and we’d love your input.
If your business runs a newsletter (or plans to), would you take this short survey?
It’s just 10 quick questions and will help us better understand how business leaders like you are using email.

All the best,
Tad
P.S. I send this email monthly to past, current, and interested sponsors of NWA Daily and anyone who wants to keep up with our growth, insights, and sponsorship opportunities. If you’re not into that, you can unsubscribe below, and it won’t hurt my feelings… too bad.
